Cantaloupe, also known as net melon, is a popular fruit belonging to the melon family. This melon has a recognisable orange flesh and a net-like skin that is usually green or brown in colour.Cantaloupe originated in Asia and is named after the town of Cantalupo in Italy, where it was first grown commercially.
