Nectarines

Nectarines are a variant of peaches and have a smooth skin and a sweet, juicy flavor. They originally come from China, where they have been cultivated for thousands of years. Today, nectarines are grown in various countries, including the United States, Spain, Italy, and South Africa.

In the Netherlands and Belgium, nectarines are typically available from June to September, when they are in season and locally grown. Outside of this season, they are often imported from warmer regions.
