Cherimoya, also known as the ‘cradle fruit’ or ‘custard apple’, is a tropical fruit native to the Andean region of South America. The fruit has a green, scaly skin and a creamy, white flesh that resembles the texture of custard. Cherimoya is mainly grown in countries such as Peru, Ecuador, Spain and Israel.
